NavVis has now joined the Qualcomm Smart City Accelerator Project to jointly promote smart and safe building technology.
" NavVis will provide immersive technology to support a growing ecosystem of IoT solution providers; At the same time, NavVis will provide strong support when suppliers want to use solutions to enhance existing buildings and realize intelligent, safe and digital space. "
NavVis unlocks the potential of architecture around the world
To record this moment, NavVis technicians used the new NavVis VLX wearable scanning system to scan 60,960 square meters of Morehouse Park in San Diego, California.
The virtual scene created using this mobile scanning device can be accessed using NavVis IndoorViewer, so that people who are not on site can access the building remotely as if they were visiting it in person.
The digital twin of the building will be incorporated into both the campus and the building application for simple pathfinding functions, as well as viewing sensor data in the spatial environment.
"Our participation in Qualcomm Smart City Accelerator will unlock the potential of global architecture. "
"Going forward, all members of the Qualcomm Smart City Accelerator program will be able to benefit from our innovative technology components," said Felix Reinshagen, CEO and co-founder of Navvis. "In addition, our technology will support ecosystem members to achieve greater efficiency, lower cost, better safety and sustainability in the built environment."
After several cycles of growth and development, NavVis continues to push the frontiers of interior space intelligence. Its revolutionary digital twin platform has been accepted by some of the world's leading manufacturing companies, and we look forward to adding value to the Qualcomm Smart City Accelerator program through the unique integration of smart building technologies and services.
